Founded in 1964, Zhanjiang No.2 Technical School is a government-run, national key technical school, which is the designated training and assessment base for professional technicians and craftsmen by Zhanjiang Human Resources and Social Security Department, and one of the training bases for Cantonese cuisine masters in Guangdong Province. The school takes full-time education as the main body, takes comprehensive vocational ability training as the goal, implements the combination of full-time education and social training, and cultivates high-quality skilled personnel in the mode of “dual system of school and enterprise, work-learning integration”.
The school has two levels of operation, namely, medium technology, high technology + college, and 22 majors, with modern automobile training room, building automatic control installation and maintenance training room, intelligent robotics training room, EDA training room, electrical automation training room, Cantonese cuisine chef’s studio, mold processing training room, numerical control technology training room, and the school’s network center; equipped with German Siemens control system of machining centers and other numerical control processing equipment, PLC, frequency converter and other equipment, which are equipped with the latest technology. The school is equipped with CNC machining equipment such as machining center with German Siemens control system, multifunctional industrial automatic control equipment integrating PLC, frequency conversion technology and many other advanced technologies, and implementing integrated teaching.
